Chapter 4 : Since You''ve Volunteered, I''ll Entertain You Properly
The man stood there motionless, like a legendary demon king using his looks to seduce the ignorant, descending to the mortal world to enchant people, making them both admire and fear him deeply. The men in black behind him exuded the same fierce and domineering aura, as if they could devour everything around them, making people tremble with fear. The oppressive atmosphere they emitted made it feel like one wrong move would lead to annihilation.
Jonathan shivered involuntarily. He didn''t know why he was so scared, but his instincts drove him to feel intimidated. "Where did you come from?" he asked, maintaining a high level of caution, his back almost rigid with tension, afraid that saying the wrong thing would anger this dangerous man in front of him.
The man narrowed his long eyes, a faint trace of mockery and disdain in his expression, as if Jonathan was a lowly ant, not worth his effort or attention. "Are you sure you want to talk to me like that?"
Before Jonathan could react, the man suddenly moved, disarming him and pinning him in his arms, gripping his neck. "Let go... let go..." Jonathan struggled desperately, but it was useless. The pain in his neck made his pupils dilate, and he felt his consciousness fading.
At that moment, a voice abruptly interrupted them. "Gabriel Guggenheim, Theodore''s body has been found, but the medal is missing."
Hearing this, the man referred to as "Gabriel" released his grip on Jonathan''s neck, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Missing? Would you lose your own life too?"
Jonathan''s legs went weak. If it weren''t for Gabriel holding him tightly, he would have collapsed to the ground. He took the opportunity to gasp for air, the feeling of suffocation unbearable.
The subordinate who reported the news trembled with fear. "During this time, did anyone meet with Theodore?" Gabriel asked lazily, his hand caressing Jonathan''s soft skin, his voice casual yet chilling.
"Yes... someone said there was a person dressed very strangely with Theodore..."
"How strange? Compared to the one in my arms?" Gabriel''s lips curled into a wicked smile as he looked down at Jonathan.
The man in the black suit, his tall and slender figure accentuated, his platinum blonde hair tousled by the wind, looked both chaotic and seductively enchanting. Jonathan''s gaze involuntarily fell on the black-clad men, his heart sinking as he realized why they were here. They were with the people who had been hunting him and Theodore!
He was doomed; he had walked right into the lion''s den!
The subordinate looked at Jonathan and then replied, "About seventy to eighty percent similar."
Hearing this, Jonathan knew he was finished. "Very good," Gabriel nodded, then looked at Jonathan, a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes. "Since you''ve come to me willingly, I''ll make sure to entertain you properly."
Despair surged in Jonathan''s heart. But his body was too weak to muster any strength. Even if he were at his peak, as a 6''2" Alpha, he couldn''t possibly take on several men, each over 6''3" and built like tanks. Even if these tanks were Omegas...
Due to the current abnormal situation in the world, Jonathan didn''t dare to act rashly. However, it was now a matter of life and death.
He seized the opportunity to release a large amount of pheromones, attacking everyone present. In an instant, both Omegas and Betas collapsed, leaving only him barely able to stand.
The scent of black tulip pheromones quickly filled the air, taking control.
Gabriel was momentarily stunned, not expecting this frail little thing to be able to harm so many people.
"Heh," he chuckled with a hint of disdain. "Interesting. It''s been a long time since I''ve seen such a high-level Alpha."
Seeing that Gabriel was still holding on, Jonathan decisively acted, subduing Gabriel and taking the gun from his waist, pressing it against his forehead. "Tell your people to back off, or I''ll blow your head off!"
The situation instantly reversed. Gabriel, who had been in control, was now at Jonathan''s mercy.
Even with a gun to his head, Gabriel remained unflustered. The Alpha''s pheromones were too enticing, and he hadn''t planned on dealing with such a small thing seriously, just playing around.
"Are you sure about that?"
"Cut the crap! Tell your people to leave the car and get lost!"
"Alright." Gabriel suddenly laughed, his voice clear and joyful. "Let me go first, or I can''t guarantee what I''ll do."
Hearing Gabriel''s words, Jonathan sneered, "Do you think I''m stupid? I''m in control now, why should I listen to you?"
"Disobedient children need to be properly punished," Gabriel said, slowly unbuttoning his suit and shirt, revealing a hideous scar on his chest.
It was a terrifying scar, like a beast had torn through him, extending from his chest to his abdomen, a deep and shocking gash.
Jonathan''s expression froze when he noticed Gabriel''s actions.
"Are you out of your mind?!"
"You''ll find out soon enough," Gabriel''s eyes and tone softened, "Little guy, I''ll give you a chance to live. You should know, my favorite thing is to kidnap you, entertain myself, and discard you when I''m bored."
Jonathan''s face turned pale. This lunatic was utterly insane!
However, during their conversation, Jonathan suddenly felt dizzy, and his vision began to blur.
Damn it! He had fallen into a trap, but when did it happen?
Jonathan knew he was now a man on the edge of a cliff. If he couldn''t escape this time, he would face certain death.
So, he gripped the gun tightly, his nails digging into his palm, drawing blood that stained the gun. The intense pain brought him a moment of clarity.
Jonathan clung to this last lifeline, staying alert to his surroundings and trying to suppress the desire surging within him.
Gabriel watched him with great interest, the curve of his lips growing wider.
He admired those who, despite being terrified, could still endure. Only such strong endurance could arouse a desire to conquer.
